TN-07: Mark Green for Congress

House Freedom Fund — Monday, October 30, 2017

State Senator Mark Green is running for Congress in Tennessee’s 7th district. This seat is currently held by U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) who is retiring to run for the U.S. Senate.

Mark is a businessman, physician, veteran, and state senator who has a proven record of fighting for conservative principles and values.

With his wife and two children, Mark came to Tennessee as an Army special operations flight surgeon where he planned and flew on some of the War on Terror’s most covert operations. In fact, Mark was part of the mission that captured Saddam Hussein whom he interviewed for six hours the night of his capture.

Mark was also nominated earlier this year by President Trump to serve as the U.S. Secretary of the Army, but withdrew due to obstruction from Senate Democrats and attacks on his Christian faith.

Mark Green is a conservative fighter with an impressive record of results in the Tennessee legislature. He’s the kind of proven leader that we need in Congress to fight for our country’s future.
