Two Primary Victories in Illinois

House Freedom Fund — Wednesday, March 18, 2020

We are very proud to report that our two endorsed candidates for Congress in Illinois both won their primary elections yesterday.

Jeanne Ives won the 6th District with 71% of the vote and Mary Miller won the 15th District with 56% of the vote.

Thanks to your support, we were able to invest over $760,000 into these two exceptional candidates.

These were to important victories and we can’t thank you enough for partnering with us to make it happen.

Mary Miller is running in a strong Republican district and is now favored to win that seat. No other conservative group got involved in the race, but we saw her potential and now we’re positioned to add another principled leader to the House Freedom Caucus.

Jeanne Ives, however, is running in a very competitive “Toss-Up” district and will need significant support to defeat the liberal incumbent, U.S. Rep. Sean Casten (D-IL).

Congressman Casten has already sent out an email attacking Jeanne Ives saying she’s anti-immigrant, anti-seniors, and even anti-women. It’s a string of bogus attacks straight from the liberal playbook.

But we can defeat Sean Casten and send a true conservative fighter to Washington if we work together.

Please support Jeanne Ives and our other priority candidates with an urgent contribution today.

If you’re in a difficult financial place because of the coronavirus pandemic, this request is not for you. But if you’re able to support our conservative candidates with a donation of $10 or more, it will make a big difference in the upcoming elections.

Thank you for being part of our team and for doing so much to help promote conservative leadership in Washington.
